CD-Duplicating, Which Media

DUPLICATING

This is simply a system of copying from an original master using multiple bay CD/DVD writers, much the same as you may do at home using a standard CD writer. The difference is that we have high spec commercial automated equipment which can duplicate and print directly onto the CD/DVD at a rate of many hundreds per day. This would be used for units up to approx' 2000 units, and can be turned around within 5 working days from proof date.

120mm STANDARD CD-R

A great medium for up to 80 minutes of audio or 700mb of data, which can include video. Compatible with standard CD players, PC, Mac and most DVD players.

120mm STANDARD DVD-R, - OR + FORMATS

Up to 4.7gb of data which can include Video, Audio, Multimedia presentation or just loads of audio. Whilst there is no standardised DVD format at the moment, research suggests the majority of DVD players throughout Europe use the minus (-) format (also known as region 2).

REPLICATING

This is a system whereby a glass master is produced from your CD/DVD master and is used to press the CD/DVD at a rate of tens of thousands per day. This would be used for processing larger runs of more than 2000 CD/DVD units at a lower unit price than CD/DVD duplication.
